This blog is all about being eclectic so here is post, which may not be for everyone, but I think these products are great. Ethical and alternative trophy heads. There is a big trend for trophy heads at the minute and they are proving really popular. Here are a few companies who have created more interesting ethical trophy heads available online.
These brightly coloured geometric wall trophies are designed in Berlin, machine precision cut from high quality eco-friendly paper to be assembled easily at home. The polygons that make up the structure ensure a sturdy construction. They range from unicorns, lions and hippos to our personal favourite the T-rex which we think would look perfect in a child's bedroom or at the top of a staircase. Also available are floor standing animals, shown below is the gorilla, this one is over 1m high so definitely a statement piece!

These whimsical creatures are sure to turn heads. Made in the US each one is totally unique and completely handmade including reusing and repurposing items headed to landfill. Definitely a quirky addition to a home, they are available through Hilary and Flo an eclectic home ware shop based in Sheffield and online. Check out the monkey candlesticks and golden pistol vase on the website!

The hare, true spirit of the wild beautifully is crafted by faux taxidermist Helly Powell using traditionally-woven Welsh blanket from renowned mill Melin Tregwent. Inspired by the flora and fauna of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Helly creates truly evocative creatures in her tiny workshop on an ancient dairy farm. The hares and stag head are available from Wyld Home in Shrewsbury and available on their online store. Style them on a dark wall for a vintage vibe and cluster with other faux taxidermy and many art/pictures in frames for an eclectic look.

These eco-friendly and animal friendly wall trophies from QBI.DESIGN based in Poland are made from corrugated cardboard and are shipped for self-assembly. They come in 2 sizes to suit so you can make as large a statement as you wish. The sectional construction allows different shadows to be cast throughout the day. A more subtle piece of wall art but equally as striking and because they are all the same base material they would look amazing in a row on a wall. Also available are a Darth Vadar wall trophy for Star Wars fans and a few floor standing elephants. My top pick is the elephant head!
